Ziggy,

Thanks for the wonderful response. I think you should have cleared up any doubt, and like Juantoo3 said, please don't take suspicion personally. There are numerous sellers of other brands that try to pull off fakes all the time on Ebay, so that's where the caution comes from. But I think it is very clear that these are the real deal. Especially considering many were never produced in the first place. I hope for your sake, that there are some hard core Mini Dinky collectors waiting in the wings to bid. I suspect that is the case and I have no shot at the few I'm looking at, but we'll see how it goes.

Could you please post some pictures of the Aston Martin and the GT40? I noticed those two aren't listed, are you planning on listing them later?

I am keen to sell all the mini-dinky models if the price makes it worthwhile, that's why i chose to test the water with the models that had been released opposed to those that were not. That said, it is quite an attractive proposition to have Dinky cars that are so rare or more than likely, the only ones that exist. I suppose it is possible that long after this auction has blown over, some of the models I have could become the stuff of folklore! ie Do they exist - Don't they exist - Sorry I am being a bit self indulgent!!!

With a collection such as this, a wee bit of self-indulgence is in order and forgiveable.

Thank you for your kind permission to use your images. I have uploaded the images from this thread into the database.

To everybody: I would suggest if there are any other images from this sale folks here wish to save in the database, please indulge me by posting them here so I can save them in a bit more permanent manner than relying on the 'bay. This would be a good time before the auctions end, as I don't have ready access to the 'bay.

If not asking too much, I would be interested in seeing the Camaro with two bonnets, please.

I see that other people upload pictures to your site, is this done by uploading a picture file using the browse menu. If I could work it out I would upload the pictures you want

Pretty much, yes.

It does require an additional step or two, but the moderators can assist with that if needed.

Wow! I have the Caddy in that color. I thought it was unusual, but never suspected it was a prepro.

I will be listing through e-bay the other cars and plans/blueprints I have next week. It might be easier all round if you guys take any images you want for your database from the next set of listings. Many thanks to the welcome I have received at Swifty's; I wish I had joined long ago as I have had many die-cast finds over the years that I am sure would have been of interest to your members & database, i'm thinking back to a mint Corgi GS38 Monte-Carlo Gift set, mint GS3 Batmobile & Batboat (1967 version) and so many other rare die-cast finds over the years.

Much to my total annoyance e-bay have just pulled all of my mini-dinky auctions. It appears that when I had them on a 'Buy It Now or Best Offer' I inserted a line into the description which said 'Posting Daily & Open to Offers'. When I sent them to auction I should have removed the 'Open to Offers' part of the text as it is now deemed (after 6 days) to be encouraging selling outside of e-bay and breaks rules. Because I had a number of listings with the same breach I am not allowed to re-list them for 3 days. Very petty of e-bay I must say. Sorry to everyone, they will get auctioned off as soon as possible.

That's a bummer Ziggy. I was following a couple of your auctions. Your cars were incredible not even taking in to account them being pre/pro

Looking forward ... :D

Oh wow, how annoying, and rather silly of EBay. Instead of just pulling the auctions, they could have just as easily had you edit the wording. I'll be on the lookout for the relisted auctions in a few days.

More Mini-Dinky pre-pro items are now listed on e-bay so you guys might want to get the pictures you want for your archive.

Yes it is a Fiat Station Wagon, I didn't think anyone would be interested in it as it still has the casting sprues on it. The model is only the body-shell and interior. Is it of interest?
