This is a 1:55 scale SIKU I picked up at a Tuesday Morning store 5 or 6 years back, along with a couple other of these larger siku items. I just love the play features on this snowplow, I forget what they call it, a Winter Service Truck or something like that. These are pics from a few years ago, so I forget how many actual moving parts are on this, there are a whole lot of them, and it's still heavy and well built for play, but now I want to dig it out of the closet and play. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's the bulldozer, it's amazing how many swivel points make up the blade, and fork/rake parts, as I recall they are all metal parts & pins too. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is the Road Roller, not as interesting play features, but I'm sure a kid would still have fun with it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You mean your Tuesday Morning had the big stuff?! All mine had was the low-end plastic wheeled not to scale carded stuff. That was when I came to know the Siku brand. I know have around a little more than a dozen Sikus in my collection, mostly emergency vehicles and farm equipment. The brand is my favorite brand, as to me, they're better than anyone else in the "toy" diecast category. These three have always been some of my favorite Siku, likely since I had the catalogs that came with the carded ones. You only paid three bucks for the dozer?! That's a steal! Great pickups for the price! The somewhat local dealer wants in the range of $30-40 for the bulldozer, not bad, but it can't compare to the $3 you paid for it! My favorite of the bunch is the MAN service truck. Everything looks really well done, and as you mentioned, the large amount of play features are no doubt a plus! Thanks for showing these! |

That winter service truck is well equipped for just about anything old man winter could throw its way. I like all those working features. Our Tuesday Morning Store did not last long - and never really had much in the way of toy cars. |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

The snowplow is awesome, and I could really use the 1:1 equivalent this weekend.

Nice! Wow $3... I hit up the Tuesday Morning in Spokane and the only time they did have diecast, it was old Tomica from TRU! But like pjedsel says, usually not much for diecast. |

Glad you all enjoyed the pics! I knew these were an unreal deal when I'd seen them there, I believe it was in only one store, but there wasn't many left, and I didn't have much money in those days to get extras for trade, even though they were just $3 each for the dozer and the roller, the plow was $5, but I remember my plow was the only box still on the shelf that wasn't opened or had the loose parts bouncing around inside. I seldom visit Tuesday Mornings anymore, maybe I'll go in one every 8-10 months or so, there are a number of them in the metro area here, they use to get some nice diecast on occasion for a few years there, though they didn't all have the same item another store might have had, then I hadn't seen much of any diecast in any of them for like 4 years now. They certainly are quality, like with what's been mentioned with them even using metal on the rollers, I can see why the regular retail is up there. And then considering there are all the dies needed to make all those parts on any of these models. Something funny I was thinking about, if Tuesday Morning sold these this cheap, I can imagine they had to only pay mere peanuts for them. Thanks, |
