Saw these at TRU last night, sorry forgot to check the price.

Tampos we have seen elsewhere, but at least it shows some 2015 product showing up.

I hope to find the yellow one.

I've avoided the military sets, as the decos on the aircraft, and all vehicles but the International MXT aren't realistic at all. However, these fire sets are great! If I ever go to Walmart, I'll check there.

I like themed sets, but it's too bad they didn't do an exclusive miniature in these.

Since they got these in, I wonder if they'll be getting the Supreme Hero"s in soon, if they are even going to carry them.

I wont worry too much about them getting in new mainline issues at my local TRU, last time I was there they still had pegs full of a batch that is many months old.

It is too bad that the miniatures are not exclusive to the sets.

Doug,
My local TRU is the same, the 1-120 pegs have been over following with green hovercrafts that have been there since Easter 2014. I have 3 kids and was in TRU shopping with them. Unless they get a dump bin in for Easter or Christmas TRU seems to never have a good selection.

I think TRU would be a 'better store' for Matchbox collectors (and diecast collectors in general) if they did with Matchbox what they do with Greenlight and M2 and other decent brands (I'll never again consider their corporate brand--Fast Lane--a 'decent' diecast brand--unless they again contract with a 'decent' manufacturer).

It seems when TRU here gets Greenlight or M2 or Autoworld in stock, it is in tiny quantities. They sell pretty quickly because there aren't many of them available in the store. When they get Matchbox singles in (once or twice a year, it seems), they get massive quantities of whatever batch is "current" on that date...and then it takes half the year or more to get rid of the dregs of that...so they have no space or reason to restock with "current" batches.

For a chain that claims to be all about Toys, TRU is pretty sucky on the "collector" brands. I guess if you have lots of toddlers, they might be a good chain, but if you really want diecast, almost anywhere else is better than TRU.

My TRU was the same way. I believe there were 25+ lime green Amphi Flyers clogging the aisle, and there were no more than 8 or 9 pegs.

I have not seen these packs in stores but if they are a success we may see a higher investment in the line, which could lead to an exclusive deco or two.

My Walmart appeared to restock, however, all they had was maybe 2 dozen or more Caterhams, a BMW, and a handful of generics. Nothing else. I love the Caterham myself, but I don't guess most others do. No one has restocked anything that contains the Mustang Special Service Package and Silverado. It is the batch that was released shortly before Christmas.
