I also posted this in the Ag & Construction section. My question is also a generic....who is Rollsmans ? Hi All! I just bought a lot of train stuff, in one of the boxes was a bunch of trucks used for static display. I was trying to figure out who made them and one pieces said RollsMans, a maker I have never heard of. So I went online to research and really could find out much. Sometimes I found the trucks in box with a Cararama marking on it ? Does anyone have any info on them ? The other question is...is this large dumper Rollsmans ? I took a picture next to what I know (well pretty sure ! ) is a 1/43 scale Rollsmans M-B cement mixer. Maybe the dumper is actually that much bigger because it's one of those that works in a mine ? OR...maybe it's another scale ? It feels like a Rollsmans because it's like the others and it has a metal cab and the rust is sort of plastic. I don't know, maybe someone out there does ?! Any ideas ? ![]() Thanks, Ted |

Welcome aboard, Ted! I wish I could help but I'm not very familiar with HO scale stuff. Hopefully someone here can help, likely on the other board (Ag and Construction). Might get a little better response with a side shot or even a 3/4 shot, something to give a bit better overview of the piece in question. To me it appears to be a Terex or some other oversize Dump as you said used in mining, but apart from the usual toys (Hot Wheels, Majorette, Matchbox) I really wouldn't know where to begin. |
