Pioneer castings, once again. The Nissan Micra / Nissan March is an interesting casting.

Is the E-Z Drive packaging found at one particular store there? Or is it a widespread distributor?

The Micra/March and airport trucks look like Tomy copies.
Dean...Did Pioneer copy them?

I found those EZ Packages at Aral Stations and in the Maxitoys Stores here.

Pioneer has copied Tomica before (Toyota Estima/Previa, for example), but the trucks and Micra are unique to Pioneer.
The Pioneer Micra is larger scale and more "bulbous" than the crisp Tomica casting, while the airport trucks are smaller than the Isuzu trucks Tomica have made.

Thank you for that. Cool stuff. I'll add the link to the intro post for the Pioneer Database page.

I see a couple of castings I didn't know about, and one I already knew I needed: Toyota HSC Concept I have been keeping an eye out for, for years. The Toyota Celica and Nissan 350Z are the ones I didn't know about. More for the want list!

Carcollector, could you show us what a couple of the bases look like? I have unbranded cars with similar wheels.
