I picked this up last week. I saw it and remembered having it as a kid, except I had decapitated Charlie on my old one..

Very nice! While I'd never seen that one before, the tractor appears to be the same colors as the regular Tomica tractor model I have.....Am I mistaken, but I thought I read at one time that these Aviva models were Tomica made or their castings at least, is that right? |

From what I understand, Aviva at first used Tomica castings. Later they did release a series of Charlie Brown figures on non-Tomica models, and those tend to be a bit harder to find. Aviva disappeared after that, AFAIK. There may be others here that follow the brand better than I, what I'm saying here is based only on what I've seen online over the years. I had Snoopy in a top hat driving a limo way back when, and it is long gone. Since then I had an open wheel racer with Woodstock I confirmed was a Tomica casting. Chance encounters online looking for other things turned up a lot of Tomica from that era (1980+/-) with Peanuts characters, and a small handful of non-Tomica castings with similar characters. |

I've got a beater Japanese fire truck in my cases that says Aviva on the base. It has the exact same early hubcap style wheels as Tomica. I'd say it is a Tomica with a different baseplate. Wasn't the Aviva version of this tractor plastic? |

I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure this was a Tomica before it was an Aviva minus the driver of course. Borrowed pic

Nice I like Aviva and the Peanuts gang too. Have not yet held a tractor. Here is a few more. I think the Jeep could be a recycled Tomica casting. Eric |

I have one, I think it's an Aviva, it's a blue delivery van thing - minus driver. Looks like this (not my photo):
