Believe it or not, that's a Matchbox original that debuted a few years before the real world Chrysler 300. It's intended to be a modern take on the classic Checker Taxicab.

I really like this 5 pack, I like the model choices, it's a good combination for the theme.

This is the first release of this 5 pack, the later one has the changed graphics (colors) on the Express Delivery, where the lettering is red, and of course like yours it has the last release of the Mail Truck before they retooled it and put a sun roof in it, and made it with a plastic grill and rear door, so if you really like those two models, there's more varis to collect.

I kind of like the Taxi Cab as well, it always seemed to me to represent a realistic looking modern sedan rather well. Not being much of a car guy myself I never even thought of the resemblance to the 300, that's cool.

Since my Dad is a USPS mail carrier, I've had the Grumman LLV about ever since it came out. In fact, I've had mine so long, I bought it from KB Toys, which is long out of business. I'd always hoped they'd do another USPS release, or even a Canada Post release, but apparently Matchbox got cheap and used a faux USPS deco.

I find it strange Matchbox is getting too cheap to even chrome-plate parts anymore.
