Today's car of the day is Hot Wheels Snoopy

Posted Image

Wikipedia

Snoopy appeared on the October 4, 1950 strip, two days after the first strip. On March 16, 1952, his thoughts were first shown in a thought balloon. On June 28, 1957, Snoopy walked on his two hind legs like a human for the first time.

Snoopy's doghouse, originally depicted in a standard 3/4 view, was soon almost entirely depicted from the side later on.

He remained as a minor character until the late 1950s.

He was depicted in the last strip that Charles Schulz ever wrote, on February 13, 2000.

Here we have a nice recreation from Hot Wheels of everyone's favorite NHRA drag racer, Snoopy's world famous drag car! While Snoopy was already a celebrity in his own right, it wasn't until his racing career that he really became a household name. Holding several world records in drag racing, his NHRA career proved he was an unstoppable force in racing!

Wikipedia

Snoopy first appeared upright on his hind legs on January 9, 1956. He was shown ice-skating across a frozen lake.

Despite his history of conflicted loyalties and his occasionally disdainful attitude toward Charlie Brown (he can never remember Charlie Brown's name and thinks of him as "that round-headed kid"), Snoopy has shown himself steadfastly loyal to his current owner. He joined Charlie Brown in walking out of a game of Ha-Ha Herman when Peppermint Patty crudely insulted Charlie Brown (though she was unaware that Charlie Brown was within earshot). He also helped Charlie Brown recover his autographed baseball when a bully had taken it and was challenging Charlie Brown to fight him for it. When Charlie Brown has to stop dedicating himself to making Snoopy happy, Snoopy replies, "Don't worry about it. I was already happy."

Living much longer than the average dog, Snoopy had a lot of impressive accomplishments in his lifetime. Of course, everyone remembers from history his World War I career as a Flying Ace, but not everyone remembers his time in Operation Desert Storm:

After his Military career and long run in Hollywood, Snoopy decided to enter the world of racing. He started with the Charlie Brown Racing Team in IRL, but left after only one season when he realized he was being paid peanuts.

From there, he moved onto Linus Racing's LeMans team. While semi successful, it was only after he moved on to drag racing that the first place wins began to pile up.

That is a dog with a mission on the top of that rolling dog house. :D May be one I get just because I am a big fan of the Peanuts cartoons.
