It looks like a car developed to Group 5 rules (like IMSA and DRM and Super Silhouette series used). I'd need more angles to try to ID it (and even then still might be stumped).

Group C cars were all swoopy looking prototypes, effectively the successor to Group 6 Sports Prototypes.
Group B effectively was the replacement for Group 4 and Group 5.
Group A effectively replaced Group 2.
Group N replaced Group 1.

This car was released in 1981. So it is likely based on late-70's rally cars.
