I've never had the chance to see one of the real ones or be familiarized with it, bit I've always enjoyed the JL model. I think I stashed away an extra that I wanted to someday customize into a boring family car.

A real one - photo taken in 2007 at the Cecil County dragstrip in Rising Sun, MD. This is the A paint scheme, with the wide red strip on the side, the B scheme got a smaller red strip down the side.

I love that color for sure. I owned a real 71 Olds Cutlass Supreme back in 71-73 that was called Burnt Orange. Very, very close color. I have no pics of the real one but did build a 1/24 scale plastic model of it... I think the color made the car... Always have loved any color in that color family!!!LOL
