Microbuss,

See the post above you (no you didn't overlook it, it was hidden and I just now unhid it). There's not really a time limit. Tom (Barracuda68) is next on the list and also last on the list as of right now unless anyone else requests to host it. So no real huge hurry, just whenever you feel like you've taken Waldo to wherever it is you wanted to take him. I'd say keep him at least another week, probably no more than another month, and then send it to Tom. Tom, go ahead and PM Microbuss your info so he knows where to send it.

That looks like fun. We have Cadillac Ranch in Texas, but it doesn't look near as cool as Carhenge.

There's a Mustang Ranch in Nevada, too...

I updated the schedule to put baracuda68 back into the schedule! Currently, this would be the last stop on the tour, but we can still add new hosts as interest is posted!

69ch will not be able to finish out the travel arrangements for the Mustang, but has okayed me to continue the "Scheduled Travel". (Dont ask for details, just roll with it, please.) I looked back at the thread posts again to see the people listed below who want to host the Mustang .

I prefer to have the Mustang forwarded in the order posted - so barracuda68 is scheduled for the next stop - please contact each other to set up the exchange. Then contact the next person on the list by PM for their address. The last person to host the Mustang can contact me directly and I will help to get the Mustang back to Eric at the end of the adventure.

69ch (owner)
pjedsel (done)
mfr (done)
hobie-wan (done)
siren toys (skipped with no address, let us know if you want back in)
250 tr (done)
mbxpilot (done)
ethanator (done)
hosspower98 (done)
atencio (done)
webestang64 (done)
microbuss (current)
barracuda68 (next on the schedule)

As 250tr pointed out - originally the host time period was set as up to 30 days by 69ch. Most people have not kept it that long - so I had dropped that detail from the updates.

I didn't realize Yucca were that far North, i thought they were primarily in desert and tropical regions, cool. The flowers are pretty but sure don't last long. Fantastic pictures and lovely scenery!

you totally wouldn't get away with flushing waste down the river like this! :o

Typical outhouse at the fort
Posted Image
the ranger said that the pioneers would be able to smell the fort before they even got there! GROSS!
Well unlike today all the latrines & outhouses were just a hole in the ground & the waste would leech out & stink up the whole fort!
Sorry to be disgusting like that but it's TRUE!
Also when they get a archeologist to dig for stuff
He usually wants to dig up the old outhouse locations B)

The speed limit in Wyoming! B)

need to go to one more place & its on the back of the Nebraska Quarter ;)

Glad you and Waldo enjoyed your time at Ft. Laramie. I think most old forts seem to have buildings that are claimed to be haunted. :D Ah yes...latrine duty...remember that duty well from Boy Scout days years ago. :(

Great Grandma's house outside of Detroit still had an outhouse when I was knee high to a grasshopper. It was a modern one, a 2 holer! The family that potties together, stays together...

well if you find the location of a old outhouse in your area
dig it up! As it'd be all dirt now
great treasures can be found there
cause it was used as a garbage dump too

oh the speed limit 70 applies to most state highways that are 2 & 4 lanes
80 is for most Interstates in Wyoming B)
just DO the speed limit or get ticketed :P

the 70 used to be 65 until this year
