The Trooper isn't bad. The PD here actually used them I think before Ford Explorers, I think in the '90s into 2005. Actually it's great! A slightly better choice than what I'm working on--a 1967-69 (not sure, until I get the title from the relative who has it) Jeep CJ-5 V-6. Yours appears to be about 20 years newer than mine, and a whole heck of a lot less rusty!

A very worthy project.

That is a cool, old school Isuzu, and your turkey meal has inspired me on what to make for "leftovers lunch" today (combine turkey with the remaining potatoes and gravy, and make some mac & cheese as a new side. Yummy!)

Wow - looks like Waldo had a great day. Seeing the Appalachian Trail is on my "to do list" but then so is actually traveling east of the Mississippi (besides Wisconsin). Love the old cars - especially the Mayberry like cop car.

I actually hiked about 7 miles on the Appalachian Trail in Scouts--boy was I unprepared for that!

Like the cars. My favorites are the Jeep CJ-5 (looks a lot like mine, but this has been restored and only has the 4 cyl. engine), Mayberry police car, and very old Mack.

The Mustang arrived here in sunny and warm Kentucky today, and with some friends too! Right up my alley, some Dairy Deliveries and some future custom fodder. Thanks Ethanator!

I don't really have any Mustangs in my collection, so he's hanging out with some ponies of a different variety.

Though I did find one to introduce him to!

I'm not sure what I'll be doing with the car next, I'm heading back up to Cape Cod this weekend so I'll take him with me and go from there!

Well the trip back to Massachusetts was uneventful. Long and uncomfortable, but I'm here! Don't ever take a 16 hour road trip in a cheap Japanese car if you can help it.. Your back will thank you lol.

A couple of pics before setting off:

And the one and only interesting thing we saw on the trip. A little shop with an old Beetle, a 2002 and a Jensen-bodied Volvo P1800!! Too cool, would happily drive any of them.

69ch will not be able to finish out the travel arrangements for the Mustang, but has okayed me to continue the "Scheduled Travel". (Dont ask for details, just roll with it, please.) I looked back at the thread posts and see the people listed below who want to host the Mustang. I put Barracude68 back in the list.

I prefer to have the Mustang forwarded in the order posted - so once mbxpolit finishes up with his hosting time - please contact the next person on the list by PM for their address. The last person to host the Mustang can contact me directly and I will help to get the Mustang back to Eric at the end of the adventure, as needed.

Finally some updates from me and the Mustang! I was able to take it flying today. I had my first training flight today finally, and while a classmate was flying, I rode in the back and snapped some pics. Seeing Cape Cod from the air is absolutely stunning. I hope I get to see it in the summer at some point.
