Lionel owned the Licence for these vehicles - They sold their own and Licenced both Irwin & Hot Wheels to sell them.

Lionel Revolvers -

Irwin Revolvers - Licenced by Lionel for sale in Canada. There were Packages just with the car.

Hot Wheels Flippers - Says on back Mattel Inc. Manufactured BUT ALSO CHIEF INDUSTIAL CO. Produced them.
Is that Produced ? Like production ? Like Made ? I Think So.

I had one or two of these kinds of cars, just for the novelty. Never got into them and couldn't tell you now where mine are...

Thanks for the info. Further indication of behind the scenes deals between the various makers.

Thanks for the info as well! I added the two I have here, but not certain which series they would have come from.

:toy: I had a couple of the police versions at one time - kind of like Wes for the novelty factor. Believe I traded/sold them off in the past year as they really didn't fit my collection any longer.

I have some of these and like others they were a novelty in my collect everything phase. I just came across this one in my stuff.

I can't remember which series but I think it was in the Lionel. It is called Twirly Truck
