Norev-Yatming connection?

Saw this and thought it worth a look and comments.

I know Yatming sold their castings for use under other names (Road Champs, Imperial, etc.) but I didn't know Yatming castings were sold as Norev.

If you have any of Yat Ming's #1011 MERCEDES-BENZ 350 SL models, check the base plates for an errant "V". The "V" is from "NOREV". Here's a photo with a green arrow pointing to the "V":

It seems when done as a Norev, the "NOREV" name was deleted except the last letter.

Same here, thanks Mark, I had no idea other than erroneously thinking the Yat was resealed in a Norev package. This is something cool to look for in the future.
