Impressions:
Paint: Both are nice finish. I like the matte black of the G+P. Paint details are a bit more crisp on the Kyosho especially notable on the 2 big holes on the roof.

Casting: Sizes are a bit off with the Kyosho a tad larger. Detail looks more refined on the Kyosho such as noted on mirrors and rear of car.

Wheels: Very similar. G+P car actually has wheels that turn and as a bonus is a pull back car

Other: Can't see interior of G+P. Weight of Kyosho feels better. Neither have anything notable with the bottom of the car.

Cost: Cheapest G+P car I have found is $12. This is a bit more than Kyosho.

My thoughts: G+P is a decently detailed car. Not quite as refined as the Kyosho and a bit more expensive. I would suggest Kyosho but would not be hesitant to recommend the Aventador roadster that Ben shared since there is no Kyosho offering.

I want to prefer the Kyosho, but the non-rolling tires debacle leaves me very bitter, and makes nearly any competitor with rolling wheels, a shoe-in winner.

Yeah I found that lack of wheel movement very disappointing. So I removed the base on mine and did some filing to make mine roll. I wheel swap another one with a hot wheel to give it some roll. Still a great model for detail eBay has some for less than ten bucks with shipping. Going to get a couple more myself.

Wow, I somehow overlooked this thread. Bumping it now three months after the fact. I don't have either of these. The Kyosho is one that's high on my want list, but never top of my want list, so I just haven't got around to it yet. I was tempted to go for the Grani & Partners one when I got my Aventador Roadster since I didn't have the Kyosho yet. If this was a Ferrari, or a more iconic production Lamborghini, I'd probably want both. The Grani & Partners does look pretty well done, but the Kyosho still wins for me simply for the more accurate color to the real concept.
