Thought you guys might want to tag along....... B)

So I'm redoing the body work and paint on my 85 coupe, also a few other items have been replaced as well as coming parts yet bought.

Here is what has been done so far.....

This is when bought for $1350 back in 2009.

First paint job done in 2010, mostly practice for spraying my 88 vert-3rd car I have painted myself.
Posted Image

Replaced very rusty pass fender with $75 (shipped) cheap China E-Bay part......cause I'm cheap.....LOL
Posted Image

Rear bumper cover, old one trashed from exhaust, $100 shipped E-Bay.
Posted Image

Replaced.....fronts struts, rear shocks, outer tie-rod ends, added GT rear sway bar.

ALL new brakes, everything, bearings too.

New dash pad cover, my steering wheel from when I was 18-3rd car I've had it on now. $17.49 close-out special Duel radio-cassette-iPod plug. Added 50th B-Day pin on dash, cut off pin and attached with double sided tape in case I want to remove. Might try and fix those cracks on the dash hull.

I've also installed all new exhaust from the Ranger tube header back w/Dyno-Max muffler.

Might replace the carpet but the rest of the interior is in 9/10 shape.

More updates later and the repaint will take place next Spring- same color as the first time Eastwood Royal Blue.

Maybe a 5.0 or Turbo-4 swap.....tee hee......

Thanks.

Yet again, keep it running verses body work. Carb blew a gasket so while I was down I deceided to change the timing belt. Still had the 130xxx 1985 belt in there. Might clean some rust out as well.
