Another one of those quirky Tomica castings, this issue is from sometime around the turn of the century. I never did put the stickers on it, and probably never will. :D

I was always tempted to add this one to my collection but just never got around to it. I do like those quirky models that Tomica creates.

The only reason I have this one was because the hobby shop I frequented in those days used to send their son to Japan and China to buy things for the store, they had small distributor connections there, plus to shop for unusual store and country exclusive items, then ship a huge crate or container back to the States.

Well they didn't know too much about other diecast brands than what was the popular brands in the US, so I introduced the son to Tomica, he would buy 20 or 30 for me while doing his other shopping there, and stuff them in his suitcase, and sell me them for like $4 each, and I'm sure that's how I got this one....it's pretty neat, makes me think safari type tour bus or something.
