For the past few days I am unable to edit, save and see the changes (cropping, resizing, etc) photos I have uploaded to Photobucket. Once I have edited the photo, I click "save" and get the thermometer bar which just lollygags along but never completes the 'save' process. Just wondering if it's just me, my computer, or others are having no luck with their own photos in Photobucket? |

I've been using it the past couple days. It is slow but it is working. I usually make my edits before uploading because of this. Edited by Vintage20, Jan 25 2016, 10:30 PM.

Interesting..I did not even know that Imgur had photo editing features- until today. Anyways, Imgur is a nice alternative to photobucket- definitely less ads (the site is ad free), and better reliability. Have been reverting to that site more and more these days- for sure a good option. |

Have been having a ton of problems myself Blair and even written a post concerning the issues. Lots and lots of problems, Was thinking it was all the ads loading and running, so I downloaded adblock.org. It works like a charm. Now i get messages from photo bucket saying the editing features might not work properly if i do not white list them, or remove adblock . Some nerve !! btm |

it seems to be working better these last few days, sometimes fast, sometimes it drags along. won't show the edited photo, refresh it shows it, but not in your post. usually takes hours or a day for the edited pic to show in your post, but it does show eventually. I have noticed that when it gets stuck, sometimes when it gets stuck, i would refresh , sometimes it would go thru, other times it would lose the photo. These issues are not only with the free version, but also with the paid version I am hearing. Just keep pegging away !! btm |

I find if you make more than two edits on the photobucketit will not take it. I was using imugr because it take edits but now it makes the picture hypo focused. Wierd. |

I realize this is over a month late....but when you try to post those pics, are you using the "Img" code (some photo hosting sites have several options, and the "IMG code" is one of them)? If you "copy" that "IMG code" you can paste it directly into these "reply" text composition boxes and the photo will display (or at least, SHOULD display). If the IMG code isn't available from where ever your pic is hosted, use the "Image" button above the text composition frame above, here at Swifty's; a little window appears asking for the URL of the image, sometimes with "http://" already entered--you'll probably need to delete that, because your images' URL already includes the "http://"--once you've pasted your image's URL there, click okay or whatever the choice is, and the image should appear in this composition frame's "Preview" screen. Then you can post your reply/comment/image and it should show the photo, not just the URL link. Here's a screenshot from Photobucket: ![]() Some internet sites hosting photos may allow you to "grab" the "IMG Code" by right-clicking your mouse and selecting the IMG code from a list, then it copies to your clipboard so you can come back here and "paste" it into Swifty's! Hope this helps! Edited by b2young, Sep 22 2016, 03:30 PM.
