![]() Today's car of the day is Playmind's 2012 Toyota 86 ![]()
![]() For more information and pictures on the real car, please visit: Toyota 86 ![]() ![]() I'm not very familiar with this brand. It is marked as Playmind Ltd. on the base, although I'm not sure if there is a relation to any other brands, as I got it in a 5 pack from Dollar General that also included some Kaiyu/ Golden Wheel castings. ![]() ![]()

Drive it like you stole it!

For a dollar store brand, this is done very well! The headlights are a bit off but other than that its a decent model. |

Playmind...another brand I have not heard of. It really is a pretty nice looking model for a "cheap" toy car. |

Orange is not quite the color for this car. I like the casting nonetheless. Car does remind me somewhat of a 350Z |

I've been checking Dollar General since I saw you found these, but no luck so far for me. |

Looks like a mix between Suntoys, Golden Wheel and 3" Motormax models. Wheels look like copies of Motormax. |

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!

I'd like to get one of these and do a side-by-side comparo with the HW version. My roommate has a deep blue FR-S (Great car, fun, good build, good power) so I have developed an "eye" for its shape and details. The thick red paint may be making the details look soapy, and the wheels are generic cheap, but otherwise, a worthy one for the collection. |

Don't think that there are any Dollar Generals located near me...but regardless, I really like this model. Considering that fact that this is a dollar brand, the detailing on the tailights are winning me over. That, and the fact that it is an 86...
