Very nice! I know about both, but haven't yet acquired either of them. |

Nice bunch of Mid 4s. I just have Zee and MC Toy/Maisto examples. Looks like the Tomica is out of my price comfort zone.

I completely agree with Hobie Wan- as I have the Maisto/Zee versions but have never seen the Tomica. Especially in the box, I'm sure they are quite pricey but beautiful cars. I'd love to have them in my collection. |

Prior to my decision to make a major downsizing in my collection, I had added one of these Mitsuoka Le-Seyde cars to my collection as well as a couple other Mitsuoka's that Tomica offered that reminded me of older, classic type cars.

The Nissan Mid 4 is a great casting. Especially appreciate the separate piece for the taillights. Mitsuoka's whole line to me is a tad ugly. This appears to be an attempt to modernize a classic '30s luxury car. At least Tomica did a good job on it. |

Nice models! My first thought on the Mitsuoka was it looking to me like an updated aerodynamic version of the Excalibur, but then it seems the Excalibur was styled after a 1920s Mercedes anyway. |

The Mid 4 is a classic, that is one I would love to see in my collection! Looks like it was a japan only model as I never see it elsewhere, does that sound right? Thanks for sharing... |

neato The Mitsuoka kinda resembles those Excaliber cars that were made in the 1970s & 1980s Edited by microbuss, Mar 1 2016, 02:25 PM.
