From 829 Japan, it looks like Tomica is coming out with a Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 in July!

This is definitely a car that's a long time coming in diecast. I can't wait. Here is the link from 829 Japan, along with pictures of a few others like the Honda S2000 Type S and Civic Type R that I'm sure will also be very popular.

The Sienta and Civic Type R were two I expected, but the GTO came out of nowhere. The S2000 is just disappointing, the wing looks too big and too far forward.

I'll have to grab this. I've been waiting for a GTO/3000GT/Dodge Stealth coupé since I was a kid. That Civic Type R might need to come home with me too, although HW might do it better later on.

Happy about the update! It will be interesting how the Tomica premium Mitsubishi GTO will compare to my custom itsubishi GTO from some years ago. Same color as well!

EDIT: Just noticed it will represent the pre-facelifted Mitsubishi GTO. Even better!
