Scored this today at the local flea market for 10 dollars. This one is the Tomica Long L8, London Double Decker Bus. This is my first older Tomica Long Series. I always liked the Long series since I am a avid truck/bus/heavy equipment collector.

That seems to be a really good deal! One I'm watching (different vehicle) on ebay is considerably more expensive. Makes me wish I lived where there were real flea markets, and more of them. Here, I get only 5 "flea markets" a year, at the fair grounds in one of the exhibition halls....and sometimes there might be 4 vendors selling die cast of any sort....and usually it's Hot Wheels and more HW and even more HW (with maybe a few JL mixed in). Last one there were two vendors with any kind of selection....none of any interest to me at all.

Nice score! Don't think I'd ever run across a Long anywhere like shows or markets through the years, guess I'll have to end up looking for them online.

Tomica lists the bus as 1/86th scale

Here is one I still have in my stuff but will be one of the items going as I continue to downsize.

Thanks guys, I am glad Tomica's quality is still the same today as it was back then. Going to keep my eye out for some more Long Series in my travels.
