I'm glad everyone had a good time! I see lots of nice stuff. If I would have been there, the circus truck and trailer would have come home with me!

Looks like you all had a lot of fun this past weekend - always great when collectors can get together to trade and tell stories and just enjoy each others company. Know it is probably asking a lot but could some of the pictures (or others) note who is them so we have a chance to match some faces to names here at the garage. :)

Bald guy, black shirt with BB tow truck is me.

It was great fun, as always. And every year adds new memories. The Hershey show on Sunday was different. Not as many venders as expected, but they certainly had a lot of offbeat brands and castings. I didn't have a ton of money left after CARnival, but what I had mostly went on Tomicas.

I was going to say the same thing..... who's who?

Also curious to know.
Is the sales area of CARnival open to the public, or is it for registered attendees only? If open to the public, did you get a lot of people coming through?
I've never attended this type of event and always wonder about attendance. I'd have the same question for the Matchbox gather in NM. Are these events strictly for participating attendees or are portions open to the public?

This box caught my eye. Looks like it would have been fun to look through.
Where's Hobie-wan? He probably recognizes what's in there.... any JP vehicles? :P

Thank you - always fun to match faces to the names of folks we have gotten to know here at the Garage. :coffee:

There's no admission fee to attend CARnival and we have plenty of walk-in traffic. This year was probably our largest attendance. Our room was packed most of the day Saturday!

As for names to faces, a lot of the people pictured aren't forum members. Those who are can feel free to identify themselves if wanted. I appear in none of these shots and prefer pictures of me not be posted. I'm one of the rare people in this information age who is huge on personal privacy (which is why I'm not on Facebook).

I know it's a little bit out of the way for you, but it would be awesome if you could attend next year's show!

I'll chime in as well. If you're traveling a considerable distance, you can easily turn your trip into a vacation as there are many sites to see in the area. Philadelphia is close by and, of course, there is Hershey - can you say "chocolate"?? Also, Lancaster County is rich with Amish heritage. If you're into antiques, you're in luck!
Spend a weekend with us, spend a week (or more) for you!

Thanks for the invites guys. Maybe one day I can make it.

Might have to wait till I retire though :duh: , and that won't be for a while... so I hope you'll keep the CARnival going for many more years to come!

Man, I wish there were events like this in my country.

That loose cars box!!!!!!!!!! I want!!!!!!! :bowing: :bowing:

Also, I notice there were plenty of very American things like Johnny Lightnings, M2 Machines, etc. Were there actually scarce and recent HWs and MBXs as it looks or were there also old ones like 80's and 90's ones?
