I liked this blue JL Chevelle wagon when I found it long ago, from the Road Trip series. As I remember it was one of the first wagons to be released. I found another one from the Grateful Dead series all slopped up with goofy tampos. I stripped it and repainted it metal flake gray and made a drag car out of it... They make a good team now!!! Anyone know of any released before this one? ![]() ![]() ![]() I can't remember if this HW Chevelle wagon was released before the JL Chevelle wagon or not... It was a thrill to find this one as well!!!

Really liked the Chevelle wagons from JL - I know there were several variations of the wagon.

Hi Stangfreak, If you mean this Chevelle specifically, Here are two that were released earlier, both in 2004. (That Road Trip wagon is from 2006.) ![]() But the first for casting #601 was actually the El Camino, also from 2003/2004. The El Camino and Wagon share molds. ![]() Here's a classic wagon released before the Chevelle. ![]() This 1960 Ford is from the 2002 James Bond series! I *knew* it could be done! I didn't know specific examples, but I guessed that tooling could be multitasked if it was designed to do so! |

Nice pair indeed! That would make a nice gasser easily enough, too. And I always thought, looking at my own, that the wagons and El Caminos seemed to match up dimensionally. |
