This late 1970s garage accessory is awesome. Took ages to find a boxed example One day hope to have it on permanent display with cars. Enjoy!

Wow! That is quite a find. I had only one Matchbox playset when I was young, the BP service station (or should I say, one of the BP gas stations) and I ended up destroying it while playing with it in the back yard. If only I knew back then how much I would appreciate having it today.......I really love that burger joint.

(I recently found one of the gas pump "islands" from that set in a box of miscellaneous leftovers from my childhood. That's all that remains.)

What a great Matchbox item to find, I didn't even know about this.....they sure made some great playsets in those days.

That would look great all set up with cars, hope you get the space or opportunity to set it up permanent like that.

I have the two BP gas stations from Matchbox but not this Texaco one. Pretty neat. Makes me think of the old jingle..."you can trust your car to the man who wears the star...the big bright, Texaco star. Recall the AFB my father was stationed at had a Texaco branded service station...or maybe just off the base but I do remember it being Texaco.
