Target has a new 26 pack of MB with boxes, called Learning Blox. One for each letter of alphabet. $29.99. Only new one I had not seen is some sort of boat on waves.

When I was a kid learning my ABCs, I'd much rather get something like that than wooden blocks!

Although, not sure how much time I'd have devoted to learning my letters vs. playing with the cars. Oh well, that's one way for MB to get more than $1 per car.

I'm not sure if I'll get this, many of the models I'd seen on blisters and picked up the ones I wanted, so spending $30 and getting duplicates doesn't thrill me, but then the neat and unusual idea for boxes attracts me too, ahh but of course I hadn't seen them yet at the couple Targets I visited lately so I might not even have to decide. :D

 It is a novel idea from Matchbox and makes a fun and educational toy set for younger kids. Truly a fun way to learn the alphabet! Years ago I used my NASCAR stock cars to help my son learn his numbers (and colors).

I hope it's not a multi pack exclusive. :(
