Remember these sets, these are from about 2000, package dated 1999 anyway, but not sure how long they ran, or how many sets were available over the life of the series.

I believe these sets had all exclusive vehicles in them.

Only ever picked up the 3 sets here myself, and one loose launch boat I picked up at a yardsale for a quarter.

My favorite is probably the fire set.

While I did pick up a couple of the launcher sets, I picked up quite a few of the models through sales from various collectors. Think I still have a couple of the larger plastic pieces.

You're welcome, I always think showing the sets are good, because sometimes people have a model from them and didn't know where it came from.

Yeah, I see the different launchers from the sets around occasionally, flea markets and that.

I sometimes wish I had waited and just picked up the loose models I wanted later, do to space, but I think I just like boxed sets too much, even if they contain some models I don't particularly desire.

23 Launcher sets were created between 2000 and 2005. Each set contained 5 miniature models and 1 launcher, the break down is as follows:

4 Fire Engine Launcher sets
7 Airplane Launcher sets
8 Ferry Launcher sets
4 Auto Carrier Launcher sets

For me, the "Test Centre" set was EXTREMELY hard to track down over the last couple years of looking. I was after the Jeep Cherokee from the set.

Great information, thanks for that Greg!
Didn't know they did so many, guess I must have just picked them up during that first year.

That Cherokee and the G wagon were the reasons for me getting it, although I was always kind of fond of the snow plow too. Bought these sets new, so didn't really know their scarcity in resale.

I can still remember seeing these on the toy shelves back in the day. Despite being a kid during that time period, I never picked up any of these sets. Thanks for posting, I did not realize they made that many sets.

I'd never seen that set before Brian, if I had I probably would have gotten it, it has a nice assortment of models included with really good colors and liveries.

I have two Launcher sets....one I bought in a store (probably K-B Toys), the other (same as the first one Doug showed up at the beginning of this thread) from a member at MCCH.

Here's the one that is different, but still uses the same launcher device as the one Brian just showed:

I like Brian's set a whole bunch more, because of the realistic liveries. This set is too "pretty" or "focus grouped" for my taste....besides, there are only two vehicles in it that I can even tolerate (the CV and Javelin). I've not been particularly fond of the raft rescue Ford....the Suburban would be much better and likable if it didn't have flames all over it (same goes for everything in this set...), and that Hummer with Ramp has never been something I'd buy as a single.

Had this one for sure. The Transit is in its proper place here, and the large launcher is still in my garage sale box...

I do remember those, I bought one for my nephew for Christmas when he was 9. We opened it up right away and got the "Big Blue Tub" full of loose cars (which i still have) and played for hours. Not sure if I still have the launcher.
