Just a heads up to all U.K. collectors that ASDA has returned to selling MBX singles after some years and also have a great selection of 5 and 10 packs too. This is great news as previously new batch stuff could only be found in Morrisons.

Thanks for the heads up. I swung by on the way home from work (last chance, as I head away tyo USA (Hawaii) for 2 weeks tomorrow straight from work).

I found these....

Singles, dated J20 (batch H). I got both variations on the VW Transporter Crew Cab with and without load.

5-packs, dated J22. This is right up to date with the Military set.

10-packs, dated J20. This is also up to date with the Toyota 4Runner pack included. Even better they are £12 each, buy 2 for £14. That will be a long term offer.

Wow! look those price tags in the UK, they are very high, but the 10-pack is a real 10-pack tho. Thanks David for sharing.

Yes unfortunately we do pay a lot more than you guys but we are used to it now. Not all ASDA stores stock the full MBX range but if you visit their LIVING branches you will also find the new Land Rover series too.

Yes, good to see Mbx back in stores. I picked up the Land Rover 5 pack too.

A little bit mixed in my thoughts here. I like the set and I don't mind that they didn't include the Evoque, but from a price point of view it can seem a bit steep. The 5 pack is priced just under £12.00 and working on the basis that single models are likely to be priced about £2.50, then you get a bit of a saving.

However, given that the Land Rover 5 Pack are placed right next to the standard Mbx 5 Packs priced at £7.47, then it starts to be look quite expensive in comparison. Unlikely the singles, which have special card art, which make them look different from the standard singles, the 5 packs, look very similar to the standard 5 packs.

I wonder if this will affect sales, or whether the Matchbox and Land Rover purists will buy the set regardless to price.

I expected the Land Rover series to be released as singles like the Jeep series (and others); seeing it as a five-pack was a surprise. Is there going to be a single-blister series or just this 5-pack?

I was thinking singles as well, but a 5pack will probably make my chances better at finding them....wonder how much more than regular 5pks they will be here, if they will be higher.

This Land Rover series is indeed available as both singles and five packs. ☺

I think the single Land Rovers are to be around £2.50 each. One of my local Asdas had the peg and price label ready for them.

I got most of their new batch of ordinary singles the other day - just leaving a few of the more toylike ones.

My local Asda stores only had space for the 5 packs - no sign of intent / empty pegs for selling the singles but good to hear that they will be available in other stores (any maybe my local ones too if they get stock).
