Recently found the red body Renault 18 with 3-spoke wheels.

It's in play worn condition, but still looks good enough for the collection. B)

Very nice! I have a real aversion for tampos, so it's nice to see that I might find one free of them.

Very nice find. I have the blue version found in a thrifty store in great shape, but sadly is missing its yellow board on the roof.

I also have the red one in about the same condition. I have five RENAULT 18's altogether:

My plain yellow ones have different wheels but also blue windows.

Nice collection! I've only ever run across the plain yellow one, so that's all I have so far.

I somewhere read that the yellow taxi without tampos and with clear (not blue) windows are very rare. True?

Very rare cannot be an adjective for this toycar, considering the industrial quantity produced in any livery.

I would qualify of very rare diecast car a model produced in small quantity (less than 2500 copies) and most of time before the 70s, early and short lived model or from short lived range series like Hi-toys, Mini-Dalia, some Asahi Sigma 500, early Paya models, some Conrad, some Gama-Minette, some early Solido Mosquito, Guisval, Hot wheels RL, Rail-Route and Majorette, Matchbox, Siku, some Polytoys, Penny, Rolytoys and so on. Also recent or old cast launched and abandonned for some reason.

I won't talk of rare liveries and limited club series or advertising models as I am far from an expert for a very large subject, only sure the yellow/clear glasses R18 isn't very rare.
