Right toward the end of Johnny Lightning several years ago a new casting was made. It was approved by a great numbers of people. However not to be seen in the new Johnny Lightnings but I still have them to enjoy and maybe they haven't been release yet?. How about a poll Johnny Lightning? Then maybe then you consider the choices. We all have our taste of diecast.

What year of F-150 is this? It has a 1970s-1990s feel to it, but, I don't want to incorrectly state the model year.

It is a nice casting for sure. Although, ever since I learned the old JL had a Lagoda casting, that's what I wanna see the most. I haven't actually picked up any of the new JLs, though.

That is the 1993 Ford F-150 Lightning. It is not accurate in scale, nice try though.

Yes, according to JLCollector, the white one was also reissued as Forever 64 release 25,

I'm not into JL's that much - I have only two JL's but this truck in white is one of them. And I like it a lot. A really nice casting, absolutely worth getting one here where JL's are not sold.

I like it - especially the wheels!

Nice touch with the detail guys. Are they from a set or did you make them.

BTW- more babe - less boyfriend.

This was one I never saw on the pegs. The fact that it was so tiny compared to other 1:64 scale vehicles, really turned off the lights on wanting to pick this one up.

Daniel, now you're talking!
The wheels and tires really work on the casting.
What an improvement!
Thanks for the picture.

Cheers. Cobra

Liking the wheels on this one as well!

(You should move them to the back and have him looking into the bed instead of leaning against the hood.)

I forgot about this truck having two gas tanks. We use to utilize this truck at work. Photobucket is really awful at the moment with pop up ads. Unfortunately I like this editing better. I meant the F-150 not lightning.

I like the 2nd one best. The younger guy looks like he would work well in an open hood set up as well.

If the pup fits in the bed of the truck you could have him barking at the guy leaning into the bed as it is set up in #3 as well.

Ya know, this casting will never be a forgotten casting for me... I was very, very lucky to find all 5 of them in a 2nd hand toy store years ago. Red, black, white, silver, and the blue one, I paid only $2.59 each for them. I still play with mine all the time...LOL
