I really like this plain jane looking Maverick JL released, as well as this 67 Fairlane. I had a 1:1 Fairlane just like this one... Hope these pics gives anybody some relief that's battling this summer heat!!![]() ![]() On the other hand, if it's a little too cold where you're at, mabe these are better!!! ![]()

Love both these castings and I wish they'd use them more often. As for snow, I hate heat but snow? I'm pretty good with never hearing that word ever again. We got two and a half feet back in January:![]() Became... ![]() Yes, there really is a Foxbody buried under there. ![]()

WOW, Swifty that **** looks deep...LOL... We didn't get hit too bad last year, but the temps were frigid to the max... We had 11 days straight from 10 to 16 below with wind chills into the 20s below... That was COLD... Then it would get 5-10 above for a few days and back to the below temps. I have never seen a cold spell that lasted almost all month long like that. Ice kept forming on elect. wires and we would go for a day or two without heat. . I was lucky to have a generator and a small wood burning stove... I burnt up some of my furniture to keep us warm... The year before we did get hit bad with snow. We got almost two feet north of I-70 but below got up to 30 inches with 3-4 ft drifts... Yeah, I could live without the cold and snow now as well!!! |

I never forget weighing a buck fifty when I was a security augmente in the US Air Force at Loring AFB, Maine, guarding the flight line. Oh man it would get twenty to thirty below in the winter. They would bring out a generator to blow heat on us. We had snow boots, a parker, scarf, long johns. When do you get more snow Sean and Steve? I like both of those cars Steve. Nice cars!!! Thanks for the pictures. Edited by daniel60, Aug 31 2016, 06:22 PM.

It generally starts snowing in January, but we can get it as early as October (we almost had a white Halloween a few years back... except the five inches we got melted before Halloween!). |

First winter we lived in North Dakota (1984) it snowed on Sept. 24th and it didn't leave! Have had many a white Halloween which is great camouflage for the ghosts.

I also hate the heat but unfortunately snow doesen´t really fall here until January for the last years and then only for 2 or 3 days. Hope this year we will become more of this snow here.
