All super nice models! I just love how MB does not do so many generics like HW. That 68 CJ Mustang needs to come back to the mainline. |

I found a bunch of old cases of mixed diecast cars...29 cases all together. I had completely forgotten having these cases like this, All together there are 4-48 car cases, 20-24 car cases and 5-24 jammer cases, all over flowing with loose cars. Many, many of the slots have 2 cars stuffed in them. These cases are designed to hold 792 cars, but with many slots having double cars in them, I bet there is close to 1,000 cars in this batch I will be photographing and posting... 2 of the 24 cases and 2 of the 48 cases are old Matchbox castings as pictures. Not sure whats all in the others yet, but this is going to be an exciting adventure. I am really STOKED and can't wait to dig into them all...

I always wished they would have done a de-tampoed version of the Probe. I remember when I found they were doing the premium version of it with the "real-riders" tires, I was excited- but they goofed it up by sticking a blown engine on the hood. Great casting that was under-used. |

Great collection, back in those days I picked up many of these, all are great Matchbox models. If you want to count the gold 75 Challenge issue of the Probe, I guess they did one without tampos.

Cool collection. I'm glad to see the Probe getting some attention. I had an elementary school teacher who owned a red 2nd gen Probe and always thought they looked real nice. |
