Same here, as nice as it is, and the fact that it's an old Japanese car, I don't expect to see it on pegs.

For me it'll be like finding the VW pick up, and the Dodge A-100, those models are always gone from the batch, and the stores seem to be moving on to new batches now.

Neat to see an older Japanese car being offered to kids and collector's.

Thanks Michael for the information. I wish I could live or visit SoCal on that day to enjoy that JCCS special event and snatch one of the most desirable giveaway of the MBX Skyline 2000 GT-X ;and of course witness the final 15 custom exhibition of the Skylines.

I think the total number of the new casting available at the show is 200.....and the giveaway is sounding like a lottery....so anyone spending $$$ to go to LA for the show hoping to grab one of these is, well, maybe throwing good money after bad?

(The show will, I'm sure, be good for fans of JCCS, but not a sure source of the new Matchbox model.....)

By the way, David Tilley just added Batch L (the next to last 2016 batch) to his list, and the Skyline is debuting in that batch. So, for some lucky areas it may soon be on your pegs. BOL!

In addition to being one of the nicest MBX castings of 2016, I think we can dub this the "Most Impossible Casting to find on the pegs" for 2016 as well.

I'll pick one up if I see one, but, like with the upcoming HW Datsun roadster and FuguZ, I won't actively search for it, as all three will be a pain to find. Though, I did find the Hot Wheels R34 recently, so who knows.
