The detachable water is kind of a neat feature with the boat - nice way to display it. The pickup and Land Rover both look nice - interesting tampo "waz up" on the pickup.

Yeah John, I thought the Waz Up was interesting when I noticed the fine print below it that said elevator service, otherwise my first thought when noticing the black and white paint scheme of the model, is what a fine police truck it would have made if only they did a shield or just "police" instead of the Waz up. |

That is exactly what I did Scotty, when I'd first seen it last week I thought it was just about the ugliest boat Mbx has ever done, not noticing the water was a different color, I just thought it was part of the hull. Then the other day when I'd seen it again I noticed the water was a separate thing, and just figured it was a stand to display the boat so I took a chance and got it. |

Great finds Doug. I found those too at WM last week. I wonder if you found the new Dodge Ram truck with the national Forrest theme that was part of the case too. BTW, the boat looks better out the package that leads me to do the same. Thanks for sharing your awesome pictures. |

I'm guessing it's MB1015, as that's the only number with an "MB" in front of it in the base. However, the most authoritative source (David Tilley) says it's MB100. I'm learning to accept Tilley's numbers, even though it sure looks like the model I have is completely different the way it was cast. |

#1015 would be the MAN number. #100 is probably where it sits in this year's line up. |

No the Dodge wasn't there when I found these, though I usually find those Nat. Parks models on the pegs, but I did notice that this Dodge is popular on ebay right now, so it might take longer to find on the pegs. |

I always seem to conveniently forget Tilley's list gives the lineup number....though at some point doesn't he also update on MAN numbers? Maybe my confusion (besides due to my age ) is because Tilley uses the prefix "MB", which is also how Mattel indicates the MAN number in the base.

I've found at least 8 of the National Parks Ram in Walmarts around here.....have a few for myself and have already given a couple away, not to mention leaving some on pegs for someone else to enjoy. Distribution is sooooooo weird! |
