My fav thrift store looked like it'd already been wiped out when I got there Friday afternoon just after noon. But there was ONE baggie that I was drawn to, all old cars, so I came home with me. A good score, mostly Lesney in great shape, a Golden Wheels F1, a few Tootsie toy one of which is a Jeep COE. Overall most of the cars in the baggie are keepers. Here's an overview of most of the baggie collection. Jerry ![]() A nice 1999 pop-up camper

My Tyre Fryer is also missing that big Ford engine as well. Very nice score--most appear to be in rather nice shape. I think Matchbox should have done that Dodge Kew crane in orange like the repaint--looks much better than that overused yellow. The "Radio Rentals" Rentaset van is the earlier version, and I think a bit more uncommon. Being mostly Tootsietoy and Lesney in there, I would have snapped the bag up quickly as well. Even though you are missing the accessories, they still made some great looking trucks in those days, you could probably create your own accessories for them if you wanted. That forward control Jeep you mention you had from Tootsietoy is a neat model to have too, The other day I found a bag of Tootsie's in one of my boxes, and was just admiring the FC Jeep I had in there as well. |

Congrats... That baggie would have came home with me as well, after kicking the clerk in the rear on the way out for tossing those cool cars in a baggie...LOL Here's the accessories that went with some of your Lesney castings.. The TV truck also had a little antenna and a ladder... ![]() ![]() ![]()
