Kenworth Cabover (K100)

I discovered this in a local "antiques" shop. (A more accurate way to describe the place would be a missing chunk of one of England's Landfill sites)

I thought it was really cool, because I love anything which has that "vintage" factor. I also like it when stuff has patina, while others might be repulsed by the wear on the truck.

I also thought I was lucky to find the cab and low-bed trailer together, though a bit of internet searching showed me that there ought to be a yacht attached to this "super rig". Nonetheless, it means I have room to put some cars on it, which I think is even cooler.

And the owner of the shop let me have this, a Matchbox Volvo 430 ES and a shell gas pump all for the princely sum of one English pound - that's around a dollar thirty to you of the US of A. Steal!

Oh, I also picked up this Iso Grifo at the same time. There's the Volvo and the gas pump I got, too. I got the gas pump merely as a curiosity.

:toy: The Kenworth cabover and trailer is a great find - neat that you could find them together. And it looks so nice hauling around the various cars! Looks like it has made many runs down the highway. The Volvo and Iso are nice pieces as well!

The 480 is my favourite of the bunch. I have two from my childhood but I haven't seen any on flea markets in years.
