Microcar
This is GEMMA (Greatly Engineered Motorcar Mostly Admired). She was born in 1977 in Derby, England after a long and painful birth and She came into the World weighing close to 2.5 tonnes.

Posted Image

Like most females She has her moments, but likes to go to the car shows to show off her attributes which as you can see in the picture are not too bad, some would say She is a bit of a looker!

Ghosthunter.

A bit of a looker indeed! More pictures please! How has the ownership experience been (maintenance, repairs, etc)? There are some really compelling deals on Silver Spurs that I've toyed with in the past, but have heard they aren't the easiest to keep running, but maybe the older Silver Shadow's like yours are simpler/easier and might be the way to go (plus they look better too)?

I would be interested to hear too! I have two cars bookmarked on local sale sites, one clearly needs a lot of cosmetic help (vinyl roof is shot) but the other looks nice still, both are really low miles for being mid 70s cars, but both need brake *parts* I'm not familiar with. Apparently something up around the brake booster / master cylinder is done quite differently on Rolls? And appears to be a weak point....

And your beauty is just that, a gorgeous beauty!

The Quest Continues
Wow - your car looks great!

The Silver Shadow is something I'd like to drive or own some day. I watch the 1967-1972 models on eBay, and there seem to be some deals out there, but not sure how well they handle.

Running in the 90's
I am a fan of old Rollers, anything pre-BMW. Is the body from Rolls themselves, or is it coach-built?
