Lamley's Leaks - Ford Raptor

Just a day after I ranted in another thread about not finding much good at WMs around here, I stopped at one today and found 3 different Mbx pick ups, one was generic, Swamp Raider but a model I like, and I finally found the Dodge National Parks truck there. The more popular models were gone of course, but it was good to find those.

Included in what I found, was this Ford Raptor, the graphics appear to be a bit of an acknowledgment of the Lamely Group, which I think most of us are familiar with. I thought it was neat they did that on a model. I don't know if the guy in the tire is suppose to represent anybody.

And John Lambert actually sort of looks like the cartoon image of him. He did a post on Lamley Group yesterday or the day before....about this tribute.

He's a former Matchbox Ambassador.....

I hadn't seen photos of John or David in years, since someone posted Gathering photos with names over on MCCH one year, so I wasn't sure if it might have been a more recent representation of one of them.....

....Hope they will do a bit of a tribute like this for Swifty's one of these days, plenty of Matchbox enthusiast hang out here.
