Found on the app “letgo”.
Was listed at two MB cases.

Noticed they were older style cases.

So I asked why they were so expensive and the seller stated there were 60 cars included. I asked for pictures.

Seller was slightly off on his count as there were 78 MB from his childhood and one oddball.

Here are a few of them.

Hmm, LetGo. All I know them for is those weird commercials, but with members both here and on boards related to my knife and multitool collecting hobbies finding deals from clueless individuals, it's something I need to add into my searching parameters. The stuff I find cheaply on Ebay is mostly through auctions, and Etsy through the rare chance someone doesn't know what they've got. Most of the sellers on both are dealers who know what they've got and charge accordingly (or way more). LetGo seems to be just for those who need to get rid of something and don't care what it's worth.

Very great find! Would love to see photos of everything--especially the emergency vehicles, farm equipment, and Jeeps.

Not to be nosy or anything--but how much did all that set you back?

I love these old Lesney cases. Only thing I hate is the fragile cardboard frames they used, and the vinyl that easily cracks. I enjoy them, as I can display my models in the trays, and if I need to clear a shelf to clean it or make room for other models--all I have to do is put them back in the cases. It also makes finding a model I need a lot better.

Congratulations. What a find! Great condition. All seem to have original paint and not very play-worn.

Looks like another non-Matchbox is there: a Dublo Dinky Toys Austin Taxi.

Keith, what variation of the Foamite is that? (Stannard code, if you can determine that?)

I'm still trying to find the variations with the green/clear springs (Stannard Code 3--single strut each side--have one example missing the top foam cannon; and Stannard Code 5--4 struts each side), haven't found one yet).

And, oh, by the way, what a great find! Congratulations!

Congrats on your score Keith, the guy must have played gently as a child, the models look really good!

A lot of nice older models and variations there, and even those carry cases are some of the oldest I'd seen, actually I never ran across any that old in all the years I'd been collecting, I think the earliest I have are '67 or '68.
