Is there any new information on John's condition?
I think about him every day right now and hope that everything is o'kay.
May God take special care of you now in your time of need.

Wishing you a quick and speedy recovery, Cobra.

I talked with Pastor John by phone today for a few minutes. He sounds good and is out of ICU, but still in the hospital in Bismark. His surgery has healed, but they are still concerned with clots and blood thinners. There is not a timeline as of today for when he will be discharged. Velma was able to return home and get some rest, but is back in Bismark with him now. He appreciates the concern expressed by everyone here. He has a direct number in his room 701.530.3334 and the hospital address is

St Alexius Medical Center - John Amundson
900 E Broadway
Bismark ND 58501
701.530.7000

Thoughts and prayers still needed. :)

Spoke to Pastor John yesterday evening for a moment, he seemed in good spirits and told me they were planning on letting him go home either last night or sometime today.

Whewwww! Glad to know our friend PJ is on the mend. No matter how routine or minor a surgery might seem, it is always a risk. Waiting patiently for John's confirming first post.

Was hoping we would have heard from him by now. I do know he is no longer in the hospital and they have him listed as discharged!
