Running in the 90's
|
In case anyone was curious, this is what's in my avatar: Roude Léiw Junior from Luxembourg - a modified tractor puller running on a Curtis Wright R-3350 radial engine. As to why I used this, I am a fan of European and German tractor pulling, and when I first joined Deviantart, I used a image of this tractor as my avatar there. So, what/why did you choose what you did as your avatar? |

I have a white 2008 Navigator L. Mine has the package that deletes most of the chrome so the avatar is not a perfect match, but it's close! Those tractor pull machines are ridiculous in the best way. |

Mine is just a stock image from Swifty's selection they had to choose from. I never really knew what actual vehicle it was, but it reminds me of a cool old sport utility from maybe the 1970's, so I liked it. |

Mine is my car. When you buy something from American Muscle (a Mustang store and Ford vehicles) you can send a picture in and they will post it. I bought the rims and tires and they put the picture in their catalogue. The picture is in my cul de sac and my drive way. http://www.americanmuscle.com/05-10-mustang-parts.html?rd=1 Here's the two photos I submitted. They are still there under the 18x9 deep stainless steel wheels. ![]()

Swifty was kind enough to do an avatar of my Olds Custom Cruiser wagon, which has been sidelined after an accident last year and with some other more pressing issues in my life it has had to sit on a back burner for a bit. I've been debating lately to put her back on the road or get something else for a change, but I've only had her for about 3 1/2 years. I love long roofs, and these are some of the last from GM, with the Olds only being made for 2 years making mine kinda rare to boot. |

1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, Chassis #0714![]() Not only is the 250 Testa Rossa my favorite car, but this exact one is my favorite 250 Testa Rossa. Sold in 2009 for a then record breaking $12.2 million (record long since broken by a long shot). Currently owned by Rob Walton. I love the black, it makes it look sinister, yet still sensual. The racing numbers are a typographical masterpiece and the red "lipstick" on the front perfectly caps off the design. It is everything I love about cars perfectly encapsulated in one dichotomous example. The grace and beauty, the rawness and power. I love the history of this particular car too, originally owned by Piero Drogo and raced by Phil Hill and later sold to Alan Connell who lived in Fort Worth. I wasn't alive then, but I like to imagine driving down the same roads as this car. |

My original avatar was my actual 1994 Fleetwood Brougham, bought in 2008 from eBay motors. My current one, the Parisienne, is like the one I had in university in the early '90s. |

Mine is Eleanor's little sister, The Slicer, from Gone in 60 Seconds 2. HB Halicki crashed 93 cars in the first Gone, 150 in The Junkman, I can only imagine what he had in store for the 400 cars he bought to destroy in Gone 2. Love the 35 min chase that was put together after his death during the filming of Gone 2. |

Mine is a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, which was my first car and the inspiration for my screen name. The picture came from an Oldsmobile sales flyer given out at the Pittsburgh auto show that year showing what you got for the money. The car was originally blue (More of the "Medium Cloisonne Blue" available for '95 only than the "Medium Blue Metallic" offered in '94-'97). I Photoshopped it to be similar to the "Dark Teal Metallic" color of my actual car.
