Greetings!
AeroPro is the manufacturer of the promotional cars for Subaru. As you know last year we produce the Legacy, Outback and WRX STI for Subaru. Many of you gave fantastic feedback and one of our products even made it to balloting for the tooling of the year. Thank you so much for that honor!

We have been given the OK to let the collector community know about the next two cars that will be released in November!

A quick FAQ:
1. What are the production numbers?: 25,000 Outback, 25,000 Legacy, 50,000 WRX STI, 10,500 Crosstrek, Forester 10,500
2. Where can you buy them? http://subarugear.corpmerchandise.com/ProductList.aspx?did=22118
3. When will they be available - Outback, Legacy, WRX STI available now, Crosstrek and Forester available in November.
4. How can I make suggestions? - please contact via Subarugear.com
5. Can you tell us about future projects? Not in detail, but stay tuned, there are more coming.
6. Why aren't the windows clear? - These products are custom, created to the specifications and budget determined by our clients. In the future clients may decide to add clear windows and interior. This decisions are not ours, but our clients.
7. What are the colors: Outback - Wilderness Green Metallic, Legacy - Ice Silver Metallic, WRX STI - WR Blue Pearl, Crosstrek - Hyper Blue, Forester - Venetian Red Pearl

Please feel free to ask any additional questions. Thanks!

Todd

The following are production samples, final production photos will be released on subarugear.com once the item is in stock and available for sale.

Both look great! My great aunt recently bought a pearl white Crosstrek (a color I'd like to see it in) and a friend had an older Forester in that same red (the smaller one) for years.

Definitely will be considering these; especially how the first trio was so well done!

Thanks for the information, and as Michael said, hopefully the selection expands in the future. Keep up the great work!

I bought a couple of all the cars released last year, and was extremely impressed with the accuracy of the casting. Great details, and very impressive rims and tires. I believe they cost @ $3.75 apiece from the Subaru website. After I placed my order, they sent a coupon for 10% off my next order. You won't be disappointed with these models.

Anxiously awaiting for them to be listed on Subarugear.com

Question..... and I understand if you can't answer.

Did Subaru come to you, or did you approach Subaru with the idea of these cars...

I'm thinking I should start bugging the people I know at Toyota and Mazda.... :poke:

Can't go into the deep details, but essentially they came to us.

If you can help us land a new client, we'll certainly pay a finders fee; just email info@aero-pro.net

I finally decided I needed some Subarus in my collection and received the first 3 today. Very nice models, especially with head/taillight tampos. I did see on Lamley 2 new models are to arrive soon. Gotta get those too! Any re-colors for the initial models?

Believe it or not, the headlights and tail lights are mix of spray and/or tampos. :) Glad you like them!

The Crosstrek is now in stock at Subarugear.com The Forester should be there shortly, we had a slight production problem so they were about 1.5 weeks behind.

As far as re-colors, I have to plead the 5th. But there are surprises in store for the new year!

Doesn't look like the Crosstrek is on subarugear.com yet, at least I can't find it (the first 3 are still listed, but the Legacy shows zero stock).

Maybe they're waiting for the Forester to arrive, before they add them to the shop.

I keep trying to get our area Subie dealer to get some of these in stock as I think they would sell well for them but so far no luck.

That's too bad. Will they at least order them for you (or any customer) if you wanted to get them?

Not sure, they need (as does anyone) to weigh out the investment cost for the tooling vs the return of profit and the marketability of the car. I can certainly ask, as we move forward with some new projects (3 more cars coming in the next 2-3 months) we may have a better vision for that.

 I am looking forward to the Forester model (my wife has one). I think it is neat that Subaru is having these little cars made - reminds me so much of the old days when dealerships had the 1/25th promo models available for kids (and adults). So AeroPro if you get the chance let the folks at Subaru responsible for these to know they are appreciated and I thank them for having them made!
