hey todd, do you think you coud convince the marketing execs at Subaru to do some older models, like a 2004 legacy sedan, and wagon, and mabe a Subaru Baja? thanks
Not sure, they need (as does anyone) to weigh out the investment cost for the tooling vs the return of profit and the marketability of the car. I can certainly ask, as we move forward with some new projects (3 more cars coming in the next 2-3 months) we may have a better vision for that.

Thanks Todd! BTW if ya wanna know, this iwhat the Baja looks like. (Its a Legacy pickup)

I just got my Forester model yesterday in the mail, and it is every bit as nice as the other 4 models- I'm definitely looking forward to the new models and colors that are forthcoming!

That is nice to know - the last time I checked they were not in stock yet...but that was a few days ago...or the way my mind works lately maybe even longer than that. I should order the Forester to put in my wife's Christmas stocking as she has a nice 2015 one!

I dunno what's going on at Subaru Gear: I placed my order for four out of the five vehicles (I already have the STi from another manufacturer) just before Thanksgiving, and three out of the four were out-of-stock and would replenish at the beginning of December. Now everytime I check on the site the replenish date keeps moving up. I have no tracking information available, and I even e-mailed SubaruGear about the status of my order. Never got back to me. What's the holdup???

Have you received any emails from them?

I received a backorder notice just a day or two ago for the Subaru Crosstrek.

They list a 1-800 phone number you can call if you have questions or concerns.

I recall long delays when I ordered the original set last year.

See they are now listing the Forester and Crosstrek as not being back in stock until the end of January due to their popularity. :D

Right now it appears only the Legacy, Outback, and SRX are available from the website. Not even too expensive. Nice models from what little is shown.....

Ok, status update:

I called Subaru Gear (which is really Staples promotional ?!?!?!) and they said that when the pallet of stock (the cars) arrived earlier this month the vendor sent the wrong pallet of stock to S.G., so they returned the pallet to the vendor and they expect the correct ones to arrive in mid-January 2017. I asked to confirm that my order is active and they said yes it is, but they did not charge my credit card yet until the items arrive and are ready to be shipped so that would explain why the payment didn't show up on my last C.C. statement. Still don't know why S.G. doesn't send me any updates on the order, but I guess those updates won't happen until the correct items arrive and S.G. is preparing to fill the pre-orders.

While not a concern for me to wait (i have plenty of pictures I have to work on before I can snap pics of these Subaru's), it is a big blow to those who pre-ordered the cars not in stock last month (last I look the Crosstrek, Forester, and Legacy sedan are currently out-of-stock) and expected them to arrive before Christmas.

Got an email overnight stating that part of my order has shipped - Subaru Forester is in the mail, err on the UPS truck, and should arrive next week.

Hmm, I ordered mine on Nov 19th... guess I'll have to wait until next week to see what happens - if I get both or just one.

I'd like to get the whole series, but I'm not sure if ordering from Subaru Gear is reasonable for me, they don't tell the shipping cost to here before giving the credit card info, so I'm unsure if I will be bankrupt after ordering. Any ideas which would be the easiest way to get them?

Hey all, just a quick update on where we stand; you should see 3 new 1:64 models arrive by the end of feb/early march at SubaurGear.com! They are enroute from the factory as we speak. ;)

Yes..... so far we're missing the BRZ and Impreza - but that's only 2. What could be #3?
Impreza sedan & 5-door?
