I don't know how to repay you guys but if there is a lesson here, enjoy your parents and try to be there for them. Your parents will not be here forever. Tell them you love them. Give your Momma a kiss and tell her you appreciate everything she has done for you and giving you life. This is more valuable to them then any present you can buy them.

God bless you and yours during this time. From that photo she was a beautiful lady.

I thank God everyday that both my parents are still with us (both are 81).

Nothing good ever happens after midnight.
Well spoken. I appreciate my mom a lot more since my dad passed almost six years ago. I saw how strong she was even more so. Stay strong for her. It's the best way to carry her in your heart.

Wonderful picture of you with your momma and grandma - I am sure many precious memories come to you when you look at that picture. And well said Daniel - my parents have been gone for many, many years (my mother died when I was 16). I try and make sure Velma gets to see her mom at least once a year (she lives out in Washington State). And I cherish the blessings I have with Velma and my kids and grandkids and the closeness we share. Life as we know it can change in a twinkling of an eye and tomorrow does not always come.

Wonderful words Daniel that we all should take to heart.
Thank you for sharing them with us.
Very profound!

Daniel, just take one long and serious look at the image that you have currently at the bottom of your posts.
Two beautiful and proud ladies.
You are/were extremely lucky to have them as part of your life.
Remember and cherish all the special and good times.
They remain with you throughout your life.
I still miss my maternal grandmother and think of her often.

Cheers. Cobra
