Wow that Datsun is sweet!! I would love to have one of those.

And in the spirit of posting our parent's rides that are far cooler than our own.. May I present my dad's '86 Grand Wagoneer!

Those are pretty nice looking. Something about that shot keeps making me picture it really lowered, maybe just since cars keep getting taller - leaving an older SUV almost looking like it has normal car proportions.

Nice jellybeanstang.

That's his only ride for now. I just bought my nephews (my Pop bought it new in 99) yellow 99 V6 Mustang coupe for $700. I'll be letting him use my Crown Vic once I get the 99 on the road as a DD.

You've owned a few of the SN-95, yes? Are there any issues that tend to come up with them? I'm pretty happy with my current car, but keep thinking one of the New Edge '95s might be a good choice for my next car (you know, unless I find an Integra for less...).

From working on my Pop's 98 and 99 I have found a few issues. The "PATS" ignition key systems is a bit of a mess when it has issues. The V6's power steering pump is prone to fail or leak. All the bushings front/rear tend to dry rot if the car sits to long.

But....so easy to work on and parts.....they are everywhere. You could have a shell of a Mustang and with parts cars, junk yards, Autozone and the aftermarket you could rebuild one for next to nothing.

I plan on putting about $1200 into the 99 and it will be a great running/driving car.

Aftermarket support is the main thing drawing me towards them, that and it's about the cheapest FR vehicle available that's not a truck. It's the sort of car I build up in my head regularly, not too concerned about what's under the hood, especially at first; over time it can be modified to perfection.

I'll continue the trend. My dad sold this almost 2 years ago now to help recover from a job loss. The very next week, he landed a nice job. GO figure!! This car went to a collector though, so at least it won't turn up in the hood on some 26's. It was an all original, 98k mile car too.

I've always liked those. Very good to hear a collector got it.

Ah, I think the Anglosphere does that on April 1st. Another quick look makes it seem like this might be well known to folks in Catholic countries, the pranks aspect seems to be Iberia, Ibero-America and the Philippines.

I'd say you got us, I guess we can take down the GoFundMe. :P

I could tell the plate was shopped, but figured it was just obscured on purpose. Rest is dark enough I didn't look too hard.

All you guys have cool and interesting cars. I'd really like to show mine too but sadly my Korean made silver transportation appliance is not cool or interesting. :(
