After a lovely morning cruise up the mountains it was time to stop for lunch

We had planned on stopping at the Masons Arms Pub around midday ,
The weather was fine so we had the tops down all day,
Here is some pics I took from the car park etc

Yatming 1953 Packard Caribbean and 1955 Packard Caribbean . Racing Champions / JL1953 Packard Caribbean

Love these shots. In my childhood days I always had an HO train layout around the holidays that eventually grew to a year-round set-up for a while. Years later I sold everything save for a few Matchbox cars. It was always frustrating when the trains would derail! Actually I could have skipped the trains, as I was only interested in the buildings, roadways and cars. Something like this.

 Look at all of those beautiful Packard's! They really look nice in the setting you have created with the Pub, streets and bikers checking out these fine classic cars.

Thanks Guys

We also had a Train set and like you and maybe a few of us here , I was also much more into the cars and diorama side of it .
Even though the buildings , people etc are HO scale and are smaller it has never bothered me that much , ( at least the trees are always the right scale :D )
