From ZA3:![]() The CHP Charger interests me the most. Will have to see the others first. Edited by BossCar, Nov 15 2016, 12:26 PM.

interesting- had never heard of a THP beetle before, apparently it is a thing... I'm pretty secure in my manhood, but I don't think I could even pull off a VW bug patrol car. |

They have had both the old version and the new beetle version. |

I enjoy the entire series, but that CHP Charger is going to be a major highlight for me, as well. And it is an accurate vehicle: the CHP's latest patrol car purchase contract was awarded to the Dodge Charger (but it will take some time to start seeing them out on the streets). ![]() |

The Santa Monica Silverado will be fun for me, even though a similar black and white scheme has been done on the Silverado previously with the Tempe Police and Manhattan Beach Police versions.![]() And the TN Beetle use is new to me, but what a fun idea by Greenlight to replicate it. ![]() |

Is that how all their Silverados look? If that's what Greenlight is going to replicate, them that would be pretty awesome, as I really like the off road look to it! |

I wonder if they'll include the surfboard. Note, even the light bar is shaped like a surfboard!![]()

While I could truly wish that '16 Explorer was for Lincoln Co. or Spokane Co., WA I will happily be "thrilled" with one for Franklin County - it is interesting that the Pasco - which was the dept. on one of the latest hobby exclusive cars is the county seat for Franklin Co. For many years Washington State county cars were a "uniform" dark green and white...but like many areas that has changed over the years - the current Franklin Co. cars are black and white units. Along with that one...look forward to the CHP Charger and the TN Beetle!

I'm kinda a sucker for black & white police cars, so that'll be an interesting one to see. The CHP Charger is must for me, though! |

Any excuse to use a VW, I guess? That is an odd one, not sure if I like that. |

Not sure what TN might be using this VW for - I know years ago Bellevue, WA used the VW New Beetle in their DARE program.

I think the surf board on the SMPD truck would be a great detail for them to add. |

Me too! That would be totally awesome! (Said like a surfer, not a hodad.) Meanwhile, as long as they add southern California police rigs, especially those from the south bay of Los Angeles (well, Santa Monica really isn't the south bay, is it?), I'll "have" to add them to my collection, being an ex-pat Californian and all. Also, further south, like San Diego. So many black and whites down there throughout socal, you almost can't tell them apart. |

Blair - did you ever get the pair of San Diego police cars that Jeff at policecarmodels.com did a couple of year ago? One was a traffic unit and the other a K-9 unit. Again no pictures to share since I still am not able to get down to the basement (but that day will come again ).

I'll have to check them out, since diomakr says they're still available. Maybe a Christmas present for myself. |
