I received another awesome RR and set it free yesterday... This 1970 Road Runner.

MAN~O~MAN these are a pair of absolute gorgeous GL Road Runners and I must say I have not been this impressed with any of my diecast purchases for awhile now, as I have these.
This 69 was extremely and just as impressive as the new 70.

All 3 of these GL Road Runners sitting together, the 1968 that I acquired some time ago, the 1969, and the 70 make an awesome display!!!

Scoring this beautiful blue one was also a very impressive and thrilling score. I am 110% sold on GL. Out of about 300 GL cars in my collection, I ran across 1 problem with a white Camaro that the black stripes were smeared on the hood. It was exchanged with no problem. The 1 and only complaint I have with GL, which isn't really a complaint is the wide front tires on the castings. LOVE the GLs and will keep on buying!!!

I have always liked these rides. But only the 68-70 models as you have shown. That 70 is surely stunning in that color and I really love the wheels/tires.

You guys on here have made me really start to look at GL's. I will be buying more in the future.

Looks really good. Personally, I don't mind the fat front tires, they've got fat rears so they need lots of tire up front to reduce that tendency to understeer.
