Lord have mercy I can't believe I saw Greenlight at Target tonight. I feel for you Matchbox collectors who are in short supply in your areat because we have more than ample supply of those. Still no M2 Machines though. I collect more of that than anything.

That is great to hear - I am guessing these are only going to be at the Targets that have the "enhanced" diecast section (i.e. the ones that got the special assortment of M2 cars). While I have not looked for little cars since before my illness, the last time I was in Targets in this area they still just had Hot Wheels and empty Matchbox pegs.

Hoping to go on the hunt again today....but have to wait at the house for the installers to put in a new water heater. Got home to no hot water and a leaking tank and a bad gas valve so there goes my Christmas bonus (just kidding, I don't get a Christmas bonus.....).

Then I will go out to spend money on food and more diecast afterwards, because you know, a guy's just gotta have that new Matchbox or Greenlight or HW or whatever.....

Our Targets don't carry GL. I saw some at a Target in Kansas on a recent trip, but I think it was a SuperTarget, which might be the difference in which stores have it.

It's weird they get greenlight but no M2 Machines. I remember a long time ago we got greenlight there. If you like Matchbox we get a load of those.

Our Wal-Mart carries M2, but Target doesn't. Weird

The Target nearest me have Greenlight and M2s but they don't keep the shelves stocked. The pegs are their but the cars are not. You would think every toy aisle would be packed full but that is not the case there. Maybe after Christmas they decide to restock. Go figure.

I meant to say a long time ago we got M2 Machines now we get Greenlight and that's a first. Paul we have only one peg but I feel good at least we have that. Our parts are discriminated against unless it's M2. M2 is available for the most part. Target carries a lot of Matchbox.

Three Targets in the 'greater metropolitan area' where I live; two within about 4 miles of my house (opposite directions...). One carries almost no small-scale diecast singles (has Matchbox multipacks-- 5 and 9-- and a few HW singles next to many multipacks, but some of the Tonka and Jada F&F models, otherwise not worth a visit at all).

The other carries pretty much all the major brands, including fairly well-stocked Matchbox pegs (but often months behind the latest releases). I picked up two Hitch-and-Tows and the Sheriff CV from Once Upon a Time yesterday there. Being one of only two stores in the entire region that regularly carry a decent stock of GL (the other being TRU....which has lots but not often what I'm interested in). The other Target about 15 miles nw of me is sometimes worth a trip, but also very hit-and-miss and more often than not, not worth the drive.
