Bought a few open ones from Ryan and found these others on the Bay from one seller. :woot:

Plans are to give the Fire rescue car to a buddy at work for his collection. I'm going to open all the others save for one Taxi I'll keep closed (already got a T5 hanging on the wall).
Those Bugs look fantastic, look forward to comparing them to JL Bugs.

Great collection of GLs thus far. I remember when I had only just a few GLs. I never really wanted to get into them much because my huge collection of JLs. Then when JL disappeared I went heavy into the GLs. I probably have a couple hundred GLs now. I think I am at a dozen of the Monaco casting which is one of my favorites. So much so that I sold off all my JL Monacos as they are severely under size compared to the GL.

Support your local demo derby.

That's a good start. The Monaco and 60s Dodge pickup are my two favorite castings from GL.

The more I look at the Monaco the more I'd like to find. And it's heavy in your hand........nice.....

And I'm liking the Bugs too. I'll have to do my own comparison with GL and JL Bugs.

If it weren't for the police and fire chief cars and other emergency vehicles, I would have a very small collection of GL models...but wow - those police cars add up fast!

I keep telling myself I won't buy too many GLs until they do more malaise and 80s stuff, and yet I've got quite the collection of American classics from them, and a few 9th gen Civics too.

GL has an affect on me, and I (too often) buy certain models outside my "collection theme"; yesterday I added the new F-150 with pop-up camper trailer and the accessory (the 'deployed' tent attachment for the trailer), and a VW van with the little teardrop camper trailer.....but now that I think about it, I think campers and camper-trailers are becoming a part of my "collection theme".....if I can get off my butt and open some packages today, I will do an expose of some of my recent GL camping gear. (With a Maisto or two for comparison....)
